We ask that you do not update your robot unless the app instructs you to, or someone from support recommends you attempt a firmware update.
To update your robot:
PREFACE: Plug the robot in to Charge and perform the following on a Mobile device.
If the device is an Android or Kindle device, location services must be enabled Chromebook devices are unable to update the robots
1. Hold all 3 buttons on top of the head. While holding the three buttons , press the power button until the ear lights turn solid red. Now release the buttons.
2. Open your BLOCKLY/CUE APP and search for robots to connect to. You should see
one called “DFU DASH/DOT/CUE”.
3. Tap the picture of Dash/Dot/CUE to connect and follow the prompts to update the firmware.
4. When the update finishes, your robot should be connected, powered on, and ready to go.
